The total sum which the embattled former Nigeria’s Petroleum Minister,
Diezani Alison-Madueke allegedly stole from the Nigerian government during the
period she served at different strata of the government has been revealed. The
sum as published by Wikipedia runs into billions of pounds.
The online search engine www.wikipedia.com disclose earlier today as captured by www.gistpost.com that the
former petroleum minister who was arrested in London by United Kingdom
National Crime Agency for Fraud and Bribery (UCAFB) had between 2007 when
she occupied public office till 2015 amassed great wealth totaling about 13
billion in UK pounds.
Though the
former Nigerian minister has been released on bail she will be appearing in
court soon as the joint efforts of United Kingdom National
Crime Agency for fraud and bribery (UCAFB) and Nigeria’s Economic and Financial
Crimes Commission (EFCC) continue in their investigation.
