Obi, Chief Judge others bag life time Award

THE Anaocha branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, in Anambra State, has honoured the immediate past governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Peter Umeadi and Second Republic senator, Chief Nathaniel Anah for their contributions to the development of the state.
Others honoured along with them were a retired Federal High Court Judge, Justice O. J. Okeke and national secretary of NBA, Chief Ifeanyi Obegolu.
Chairman of the association, Chief Chris Adimora said former Governor Obi was given the "Life Time Achievers' Award," weekend, in recognition of his giant achievements, especially his ability to govern Anambra State within the law during his tenure.
According to him, Anambra people and Nigerians in general would continue to use Obi as a good example in governance, adding that he would continue to be remembered for so many firsts he achieved as the governor of Anambra State
