Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has reportedly stormed
the Yar’adua centre venue of the people democratic party (PDP) convention
committee inauguration. This move by the Ogun high chief is coming barely 18
months after asking that his membership card of the PDP be torn in shreds in
the state. And although nobody could give a succinct reason for the former president’s
appearance, some political observers are of the view that he could be on a move
to return to the party. All effort for journalist to obtain information from
him proved abortive as he refused to respond to their questions.
With the move there
is a possibility that the former president may be strategizing on how to
combine efforts with the PDP to remove the President Buhari led government of the
All Progressive Congress over their failure to stabilize the economy.
