The Commissioner for Environment and the former speaker of the Anambra
state House of Assembly Chief Princess Chinwe Nwaebili has disclosed
that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is doing its
best to frustrate petitioners at the tribunals.

Princess Nwaebili who was also the All Progressive Grand Alliance
(APGA) Candidate for Ogbaru Federal constituency, made this known to
newsmen after the tribunal sitting at Awka high court headquarters,
confirmed that she was elated with the way the tribunal was going
because the respondents where contradicting their results and reports.
However she expressed trust and confidence in the Judges at the
tribunal describing them "standard and upright panel"
Princess Chinwe who is challenging the result of the just concluded
National Assembly elections said the All Progressive Grand Alliance
(APGA) defeated the People Democratic Party (PDP) convincingly but was
surprised to find (INEC) declare the candidate of the (PDP) winner of
the election in her constituency.
She further revealed that (INEC) in their quest to cover their
mistakes of wrongly declaring a winner at the 2015 National Assembly
polls go as far as frustrating petitioners who visit their office to
request for sensitive documents which will serve as evidence at the
tribunal by completely denying them access to these documents.
Her words "I am happy about the proceedings at the tribunals because
the same people who claimed they are the winners of the election are
seriously complicating themselves at the tribunals"
She continued "Although (INEC) is not giving petitioners access to
sensitive documents each time we go there they just frustrate and end
up not giving you the documents, they are doing this because when you
wrongly declare someone winner you must do everything to defend the
wrong declaration but I am confident that they will not succeed
because the tribunals is a standard and upright panel"
