Anambra PPA leader urges legislators to Emulate Enechukwu’s Footprint

A politician and Industrialist, Mr Godwin Ezeemo, has called on present legislators to emulate the leadership qualities of late Ifeanyichukwu  Enechukwu  who was laid to rest at his country home over the weekend at Umumpama  Village Oba Idemili South LGA .

 

Ezeemo in an interview with newsmen described late Enechukwu as an Icon of hope to positive fighter as he was known for his striking stand during his days as Speaker of Old Anambra Assembly.

 

Mr Ezeemo who was represented at the burial by Mr Matthias Emeke, the state Leader of Progressive People's Alliance (PPA) said that he was a trust worthy person and holds firm to his convictions and work assiduously towards achieving set goals.

 

Ezeemo said that it was his doggedness in nature that he was able to attract the universities we have today in the south east "If he had being a self centered person he will only stick out his neck to personal issues or the gains but rather he was always thinking of how the Igbo his people will be touched through his service, this is what is demanded of the legislatures. Leaving good marks on the sand of times"

 

He said that he has known Enechukwu for a very long time and had always held him in high esteem due to his human relation and people acceptability.

 

He added that when he visited him on his sick bed that the man was still bothered with issues affecting the progress of the Igbo race and unity of the country.

 

Ezeemo said that the late speaker was a great parliamentarian and called on legislators to emulate his struggling and dogged spirit towards achieving greatness for the country.

 

He encouraged the deceased family to be one indivisible unit as he left them and ensure that the chord was not broken no matter the problem, advising them to known that their late father  is an international figure and should not act in any way that will reduce his name to ridicule.

 

Ezeemo also urged the state government to immortalize late Hon Enechukwu as he was a great and patriotic citizen. He explained that immortalizing him would make his name ring bells even to generations unborn and politicians would be encouraged to come active in nation building knowing that every good struggle comes with reward and recognition.
