Anambra Assembly Morns Death of Former Speaker

The speaker and members of the 6th Anambra state House of Assemble have joined the entire people of the state to morn the death of the speaker of the old Anambra Assembly Hon. Ifeanyichukwu Enenchukwu.

The Former speaker who was popularly know as the Oba of Oba hails from Oba in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State. He died at the age of 75

 
After reading the letter from late Enenchukwu family informing the house members of his death the speaker Mrs Rita Maduagwu directed that members observe a minute silence in honour of the late political leader.

In a separate reactions the majority leader of the house Hon.Victor Jideofor Okoye who represents Anambra West state constituency and Hon Uche Okafor representative of Ayemelum state constituency described  the departed lawmaker as a man of integrity and great courage

They regretted the fact that they revered and experienced lawmaker will depart at a time his deep well of knowledge, experience and council was required by the state to move it forward.

They maintained that the death of the lawmaker was a great loss to the government and people of Anambra State but also prayed that God should bestow the family the fortitude to bear the loss .
