Ifeanyi Ubah football club on Sunday,
June 28, 2015 sacked their Bulgarian coach Mr Mitko Dobrev after losing their
first home game to Wikki Tourist FC, the game which was played at Rojenny
Stadium, Oba ended 1:0 in favor of the visiting team Wikki Tourist Football Club.

sacked coach Mr Mitko Dobrev who was relieved of his position during a brief
meeting with the club’s C.E.O Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah immediately after the
match was given a new post and sent out side the country for further training, as
Mr John Obu the former assistant coach of the team was appointed the new chief coach.

Mr Mitko Dobrev by the oil magnate, Dr Patrick Ubah is believed to be a move to
strengthen and improve the team’s subsequent games as the billionaire owner is
seriously focusing on getting the team to top the Glo premier league
tournament.
While speaking with the press after
the match Dr Ifeanyi Ubah expressed his dissatisfaction over the team 1:0 lose
at home but was upbeat that the team will do better in succeeding games as he
noted that the loss was a “wake up call for the team to buckle up and do their
homework well”
Following the resolve to further strengthen
and improve the team, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah appointed a new captain and as well
surprised him with a gift of a brand new car as he equally announced that the
captain position in the team would be rotational.
