Obiano, Osinbajo Others receives Unilag Honourary Award

Governor Willie Obiano and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo were among some notable alumni of the University of Lagos who were honoured by the Institution over the weekend.

The Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Rahman Bello elucidated
that the honour is for eminent and worthy Alumni who have distinguished themselves and are currently holding executive political offices in various states.
Other alumni honoured at the event were Governors Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom state, Hassan Dankwambo of Gombe state and the Deputy Governor of Abia State Mr. Ude Oko-Chukwu.
It will be recalled that Governor Obiano graduated from the University of Lagos with a second class honours upper division degree in Accounts and followed it up with an MBA in Marketing from the same University.
He has continued to bring honour to his alma mater with an impressive performance since he became the Governor of Anambra State with his recent eighteen months scorecard that drew applause across the state and beyond
