The senior special assistant to
governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state on political matters, Hon Chinedu
Obidigwe has cleared the air on the rumors making the round that his principal
was nursing the intention of dumping All
Progressive Gland Alliance for All Progressive Congress (APC) the political
platform which saw him to power.
The former local government boss and
special adviser to the Governor Willie Obiano on youth mobilization who made
this known while responding to questions from journalist in his office urged
the general public to disregard such rumors as they where the handiwork of
political jobbers.
He advised that Ndi Anambra should
as a matter of urgency ignore and disregard these rumors from rumor monger as
it holds no water and described the rumor of the governor decamping to All Progressive
Congress (APC) as a figment of the imagination of rumor peddlers.
He revealed that the Governor Obiano
was preoccupied with the responsibility of delivering the dividend of democracy
to ndi anambra and also working hard to reposition All Progressive Grand
Alliance (APGA) in other to transform the party to a formidable opposition
party in Nigeria.
In his words he said “quote me
anywhere, the governor has no plan to defect to any other party because he is
somebody that will not bite the finger that fed him. APGA is the political
platform he used to emerge the governor of Anambra state and he has no reason
whatsoever to dump the party.
