A cheerful horde of supporters of the former governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido, scaled the fence of the kano airport as he landed from a brief detainment in Abuja.
A week ago Mr. Lamido and two of his children were requested confined by a high court judge over charges that he stole billions from his state coffers amid his 8-year residency
The judge at a Kano high court had requested the senator confined for two months an affirmation that shook the representative so much that that he asked the judge: "You mean, I 'll be going to jail"?
On the other hand, respite came the method for the representative when another high court in Abuja conceded him safeguard.
