The Executive chairman of Anaocha LGA Engr Ikeobi Ejiofor has stated that his local government area will distribute 100% of permanent voters card in its possession before match 28 2015.
The council boss made this known in an interview with www.gozienews.blogspot.com in his office at Neni the Anaocha headquarters.
He explained that the councils INEC office had taken all the necessary steps in other to achieve the target of 100% PVC distribution in the area as he urged INEC to make available the remaining permanent voters card meant for the area.
The Executive Chairman advised the people of Anaocha to visit the nearest collation center to them and pick their cards as it is the only means with which they can exercise their right during the election.
"Here in Anaocha we have a target of making sure we distribute all the permanent voters card in our possession and we are seriously working towards meeting that target.
"Though we are yet to receive some permanent voters card from INEC Abuja we are very positive to completely distribute all the ones we have in our possession.
"So far the progress we are making is encouraging and if we continue this way we are sure to reach our target." Hon Ejiofor said.
He further thanked the Executive Governor of the state Chief Willie Obiano for his commitment in transforming the local government area and the state at large and reiterated the willingness of Anaocha local government to continue partnering with the governor in achieving his 4 point agenda for the development of the state.
